There are many great Masonic-themed blogs, all contributing in their own way to the online Masonic experience. I send my thanks and best wishes to all of you, listed here or not, who have shared your views and visions of Freemasonry via blogs and by commenting on others' blogs this year.
- Masonic blog I'm most glad (gladdest?) to see back in action after a too-long absence: Kingdom of Conscience.
- Masonic blog I wish would get back to regular updates: The Examined Life.
- Ballsiest Masonic blog: Masonic Crusade, which has been following the West Virginia situation, where the sitting Grand Master expelled a recent Past Grand Master.
- Most interesting Masonic blog that doesn't link to The Burning Taper: Aude Vide Tace.
- Most balanced Masonic blog: Masonic Traveler.
- Best international Masonic blogs: Grail Quest (Danish-Irish) and Middlesex-Fire (British).
- Most introspective and thought-provoking Masonic blog: Movable Jewel.
- Masonic blog with the best sense of humor: Tao of Masonry.
- Masonic blog most into discussing the symbolism and meaning of Freemasonry: Resurrexion.
- Most Masonically useful blog: Masonic Renaissance.
- New Masonic blog with lots of potential: The North Eastern Corner.
- Best new Masonic blog of 2007: The Middle Chamber.

w00t! Best! :-)
ReplyDelete(Oh, never mind that Grail Quest shares the honour with Middlesex Fire, that well-articulated, positivity-exuding, activity-brimming blog of much greater interest to the readership at large!)
Kudos to everyone – keep blogging! And thanks to WS for his impressive output of honest and thoughtful musings.
I am honored to be listed among such a distinguished list of Masonic blogs! I wish you all the best in the New Year and in Masonry!
ReplyDeleteDue to the intention of my blog, "Most Masonicaly Useful" is the highest compliment it could receive. Thanks for the consideration, brother! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThanks, WS. Humor is serious stuff: I knew it was going to be tough going until I could edge out Erma Bombeck.

The Tao of Masonry
It is great to see that all 4 Bloggers from the Nutmeg State made the list. Thanks W.S. I hope to realize my potential someday.

Cory says- Don't feel slighted Bro. Just keep on keeping on and next year we'll see you on the list.
Thank you, WS, for bestowing upon me the dubious distinction of "Laziest Masonic Blogger." :)
ReplyDeleteTruth to tell, I have not had much to write about since September, when I was accepted by my lodge but unable to attend the EA degree that was held that month.
Chances are good that I'll have much to write about in another month or so.
Wishing you all a very happy new year,
-A.C.
My blog is the greatest
ReplyDeleteBucket of Masonic Bullshat!
You know,
it is not about you
it is all about me!
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH
WHINE WHINE WHINE
I'm regular as a mason and in my Bowel Movements!
Oh yeah, and my Grand Lodge rules!
What a great time to be a regular, recognised mainstream mason!
Wooooooooohoooooooooo
T. Ron Dunce,
ReplyDeleteWhile I'll admit I found your initial presence here as a mocking parody amusing and pretty on-target, its entertainment value is dropping fast.
Your point is made, and bravo.
But satire can only go so far... ask Jon Swift (the original one).... Everyone says they read Gulliver's Travels, but most of us barely got through the bit about the horses and the tiny Lilliputians. Too much satire just bores us. (More proof — no one watches SNL anymore.)
What I'm saying is this: Enough already. Please contribute something to the flow of discussion here, or go taunt your subject of derision directly.
Thanks.
— W.S.
I myself got past the Brobdingnagians. But I have a high satire tolerance.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your kind words about Movable Jewel Brother. I am humbled that I can perphaps provide some thought provoking material for my Internet Brethren.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you and those you care for in 2008.
Be Well,
Traveling Man
Most balanced... sniff sniff, I was hoping for at least sometimes edgy.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding, brother, I appreciate the mention and the nod. I've been neck deep in life to keep up with the blog train, but I am glad to know that you still carry the torch.
