TBS sets horrible precedent by paying Boston for Aqua Teen Hunger Force 'scare'

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., parent company of The Cartoon Network, and the New York marketing company Interference, Inc., have set a horrible precedent by agreeing to pay $2,000,000.00 (two million dollars!) to Boston area agencies and agencies "affected by the scare."

I'm sure officials in the nine other cities where the Lite Brite cartoon character signs were placed are kicking themselves in the head for not making a fuss over them so they could get in on the cash bonanza!

One blogger — I don't remember who — likened the affair to being afraid of the shadows a tree outside his bedroom window cast, and then, once he discovered it was a just a tree, cutting it down to punish it.

Heh heh... well, that didn't last long ;-)

Sorry, WS - I'm guilty of perhaps some troll baiting. A Usenet habit that's hard to break.

  3. No, it didn't last very long, did it?

The troll returned, leaving lots of his droppings, and I didn't want this blog to turn into a cesspool.

If he could actually make a point without ad hominems, maybe we could actually have a discussion with him and find out what his issues are, that would be one thing. He never makes a point; he just runs on like a leaking toilet.

  5. *sighs*

He's now moved on to my WordPress blog, and has just "discovered" my LJ.

Same stuff, too. Talk about a "Johnny one-note."
