Though he holds office as a Republican, it is no secret that U.S. Rep. Dr. Ron Paul is a libertarian. In fact, he ran for president as the Libertarian Party candidate in 1988.

This article is not about being a Libertarian. It is about being a libertarian.

  1. Brother, I want to thank you for your recent post regarding Libertarianism, not specifically The Libertarian Party, but Libertarianism as a political philosophy.

    My results from the several surveys and tests convinced me of what I have always believed.

    Yes, I am a closet Libertarian and need to come out of the political closet.

    Please continue to challenge those of us who follow your blog. I especially like to read the follow-up in the comments from those who are afraid to look in the mirror and say to themselves, "We have seen the enemy, and he is us!

  3. Left-leaning libertarian here...but I already knew that before I took the quiz.

    It's nice to see the free-thinking tradition continues with the freemasons.

    Would it be fair to say that while yours is not a political organization, it is one with political ideals?

    Is there a chance in these dark and scary political times that we'll see some strong libertarian guidance coming from good men who happen to wear the square and compass?

    Architect knows, the rest of us tea-party attendees could use some leadership and encouragement.
